Today’s racing has begun with the Men’s 50+/60+ race.
Race officials delayed the start nearly an hour, because they determined that some errosion protection in one of the corners posed a potential hazard to racers. Fortunately, we were able to make a minor modification to the course, sweep the new section and begin racing.
The first Preme of the day went to Barry Klunder, 256.
Second Preme went to Mark Steck, 264.
Third Preme goes to Steve Menerly,262, beating Mark Steck by 0.045seconds. 4 laps to go.

What is the impact on the afternoon start times? How far are they being pushed back or is there a plan to get back on time? Thanks.
We are running about 25min late, but don’t trust that. The officials are trimming a couple minutes off the race times, and are attempting to get us back on schedule.
