Networking Rides

// September 8th, 2009 // Rides

On September 3, 4 riders gathered at White Rock Lake at 1pm for a “Networking Ride.” Mark, Clay, Joe and I rode 3 laps together and then Clay and I continued on for a 4th lap after Mark and Joe had to take off.

The purpose/goal of this ride is to give folks that are available the chance to get out and meet people that they wouldn’t normally ride with.

  • Unemployed and looking for work
  • Unemployed and happy about it
  • Retired
  • Stay-at-home moms/dads
  • Flex-time workers
  • Recruiters willing to sweat to make contacts

The path ahead:
White Rock Lake pedestrian/bike trail

Mark and Joe:

Hopefully, this will become a regular Thursday afternoon ride year-round. Even more hopefully, connections will be made for those looking for work, business deals etc.

Please come join us…1pm at the parking lot on West Lawther between the Boat House and the kids playgrounds near TP Hill.

    Hello Ryan.

    Are you asking about joining the WRL rides or the club in general? The WRL ride leaves from the boat house. If you are interested in joining IC3, you can go to http://www.christiancycling.com and join from there. Depends on where you live, we have several folks that ride the RBM rides from the Richardson store. Be glad to have you at either one.

    Hi Ryan,

    The Thursday ride is (for now) a BikeMS training ride that leaves at 12:30 almost every Thursday…come on out and ride with us if you can!
